Photography at Hakone
Hakone is beautiful in every season and photography for personal use is encouraged. However, a photography permit is required if you plan to use the gardens as a backdrop for your photo shoot. See Visitor Info or email the events office for more information.

One of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s premier sites and 100 years old, Hakone is one of the old Japanese estate, retreat and gardens in the Western Hemisphere.
