Classes

Hakone offers the following ongoing Art and Cultural classes. There is free parking and free garden entrance for all students. Classes meet in the buildings, crafts workshop, or in the gardens.

Ask about our organized group cultural programs with 5 or more people on reservations only and upon availability. We have a Docent Guided tour and/or Tea Ceremony and/or a Tea Ceremony/Kimono Wearing combined Demonstration (Kimono wearing demonstration upon availability only).

The Art Program brochure is mailed three times per year. For inquiries about classes, receiving an Art Program brochure and to be placed on the mailing list, (as well as weddings and special events, volunteering in the gift shop, garden, or becoming a docent, and/or a teacher at Hakone), please contact our Event Manager at 408 741-4994 or events@hakone.com, and leave your name and address.
